PDF Ready

Guide

Add a handwritten signature before Prepare

Add one visible handwritten signature to the current document, reuse it on selected pages, and continue with Prepare only after the document looks right.

Visible handwritten signature Before Prepare Not a digital-signature workflow

When to use this

Use it for a visible handwritten mark

  • Use this when the destination accepts a visible handwritten signature inside the PDF.
  • Use it before Prepare when the document still needs route or size preparation afterwards.
  • Keep the source document path simple: sign first, then prepare the upload result.

What it is not

Not a certificate-backed signature workflow

A handwritten signature in PDF Ready is a visible mark. Do not use this path when the original file must stay digitally signed, validated, or untouched.

Full PDF Ready Originals screen with the current file row menu open and Add handwritten signature highlighted
From the current file row in Originals, open the row menu and choose Add handwritten signature.

Step 1

Start from the current document

Open the source row menu in Originals and choose Add handwritten signature. This is a before-Prepare edit on the current document.

Step 2

Draw the signature once

In this workflow, PDF Ready uses one handwritten signature asset for the current document. Draw it once, then reuse that same signature where it belongs.

Step 3

Place it on a page

Put the signature where the destination expects a visible handwritten mark. This updates the current document in place; it does not create a visible generated result just for signing.

Step 4

Reuse it on selected pages

Reuse the same signature on the pages that need it. In this version, think of the signature as one asset for this document, reused where needed rather than recreated page by page.

Disclaimer: A handwritten signature in PDF Ready is a visible mark only. It does not guarantee legal validity or portal acceptance.
